We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic team. Duties

Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring that all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available. Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure that all documentation is completed in a timely manner. Sterilise instruments and maintain cleanliness of the dental surgery in accordance with health and safety regulations. Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up communications with patients to ensure continuity of care. Utilise IT systems for record keeping, appointment management, and inventory control of dental supplies. Collaborate effectively with the dental team to enhance patient experience and improve service delivery.

Experience

Previous experience as a Dental Nurse or in a similar healthcare role is preferred but not essential. A strong foundation in patient care practices is crucial, alongside proficiency in English for effective communication with patients and colleagues. Nursing qualifications or certifications are advantageous, demonstrating your commitment to the profession. Familiarity with IT systems used in healthcare settings will be beneficial for managing records and appointments. Excellent communication skills are essential for interacting with patients and providing clear information about treatments and procedures. Strong organisational skills will aid in managing multiple tasks efficiently within a fast-paced environment.
