We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the dental team in delivering exceptional services. As a Dental Nurse, you will assist with various dental procedures, ensuring that patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their visit.

Duties

Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available. Provide chairside support to enhance patient comfort and care during procedures. Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans, ensuring confidentiality at all times. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up communications with patients. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organised clinical environment. Assist in the management of dental supplies, including inventory checks and ordering when necessary.

Skills

Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently within a busy practice environment. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly to patients and colleagues alike. Proficiency in IT systems relevant to dental practice management and patient records. A caring approach towards patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding of their needs. Previous experience as a nurse or in a healthcare setting is advantageous but not essential. Fluency in English is required for effective communication with patients and team members.
