We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. As a Dental Nurse, you will assist the dentist during procedures, manage patient records, and maintain a clean and organised environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team are essential for this role.

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared in advance. Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have. Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans, ensuring confidentiality at all times. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols. Organise appointments and manage the dental practice's schedule efficiently. Handle administrative tasks such as billing, insurance claims, and inventory management of dental supplies. Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a collaborative approach to patient care.

Requirements

Qualified Dental Nurse with relevant certifications or training. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Proficient IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling software. A compassionate approach to patient care with a focus on providing a comfortable experience for patients. Ability to work well within a team while also being self-motivated when required.
