We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our dental team. You will be responsible for assisting with various dental procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow, and maintaining a welcoming environment for our patients.

Duties

Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared in advance. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including treatment plans and medical histories. Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures, answer questions, and provide reassurance. Ensure the cleanliness and sterilisation of dental instruments and equipment in compliance with health and safety regulations. Manage appointment schedules, including booking, confirming, and rescheduling patient visits. Support the dental team in administrative tasks as required, demonstrating strong organisational skills. Stay updated on dental practices and technologies to enhance patient care.

Qualifications

Qualified Dental Nurse with relevant certifications or equivalent experience. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and colleagues. Strong organisational abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently within a fast-paced environment. Proficient IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling software. A genuine passion for patient care with a friendly and approachable demeanour. Previous experience in a dental practice is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
