Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available. Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have. Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment scheduling using dental software. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols. Sterilise instruments and maintain cleanliness in the surgery area. Collaborate effectively with the dental team to ensure smooth operations within the practice. Stay updated on dental procedures, technologies, and best practices through continuous professional development. and assist in treatment coordination in the practice

Experience

Previous experience as a Dental Nurse is preferred but not essential; newly qualified nurses are encouraged to apply. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and colleagues. Proficiency in IT systems related to dental practice management is advantageous. A background in nursing or healthcare is beneficial, highlighting your commitment to patient care. Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
