Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while ensuring that the dental practice runs smoothly. As a Dental Nurse, you will assist the dentist and the hygienist during procedures, manage patient records, and contribute to a welcoming environment for our patients.

Responsibilities



Assist the dentist during examinations and various dental procedures, ensuring that all instruments are prepared and sterilised. This is not limited to general dentistry, but to include implant surgery and orthodontic treatment as well. Provide exceptional patient care by communicating effectively with patients, addressing their concerns, and ensuring their comfort throughout treatments. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulations and practice policies. Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up calls to ensure effective patient management. Ensure the dental surgery is clean, organised, and well-stocked with necessary supplies. This also covers lab work and communicating with lab technicians to confirm that lab work will come on time. Collaborate with other dental professionals to deliver comprehensive care to patients. Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and practices through continuous professional development.

Qualifications



Qualified Dental Nurse with relevant certification or diploma and current GDC registration. MINIMUM 3 YEARS QUALIFIED Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with patients and team members. Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently within a busy practice environment. Proficiency in IT systems (Google Chrome and Microsoft Office) for maintaining patient records and scheduling appointments. Previous experience in a dental setting is essential; a willingness to learn is crucial. A compassionate approach towards patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding at all times.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 13.00-15.00 per hour
