We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality dental services. This role requires strong communication and organisational skills, as well as a commitment to maintaining a welcoming and efficient environment for our patients.

Duties

Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring that all necessary instruments and materials are prepared in advance. Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure that all information is updated in the IT system. Sterilise instruments and maintain cleanliness within the surgery to comply with health and safety regulations. Manage appointments and schedules efficiently, ensuring optimal use of time for both patients and staff. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless workflow and high standards of patient care. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.

Qualifications

GDC registration is essential Experience as a Dental Nurse in Implantology, Oral Surgery and complex restorative dentistry would be advantageous. Strong patient care skills with a focus on providing a positive experience for all patients. Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues. Excellent communication skills to convey information clearly and compassionately. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment. IT proficiency in R4 to handle patient records and scheduling would be an advantage.

Pay: 12.50-15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 40 per week
