We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing excellent patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position requires strong communication and organisational skills, along with a passion for delivering high-quality dental services.
Duties
Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and ready for use.
Provide exceptional patient care by ensuring patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their visit.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
Manage appointment schedules, including booking, confirming, and rescheduling patient appointments as needed.
Ensure the cleanliness and sterilisation of dental instruments and work areas to uphold health and safety standards.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions.
Collaborate effectively with the dental team to ensure smooth clinic operations.
Qualifications
Proven experience in patient care within a dental or healthcare setting is preferred.
Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
Strong IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling systems.
Excellent communication skills to interact positively with patients, families, and colleagues.
Outstanding organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
