Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care, assisting the dental team, and ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic. Duties

Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available. Provide excellent patient care by welcoming patients, addressing their concerns, and ensuring their comfort throughout their visit. Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans, while adhering to confidentiality protocols. Sterilise instruments and maintain a clean and organised work environment in accordance with health and safety regulations. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to promote optimal dental health. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery. Stay updated on new dental technologies and procedures to enhance skills and knowledge in the field.

Qualifications

Qualified Dental Nurse with relevant certification or diploma. Proficient in IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling appointments. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and colleagues. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a dental practice is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is crucial. A compassionate approach towards patient care, demonstrating empathy and professionalism at all times.
