We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our dental team. As a Dental Nurse, you will assist in various dental procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow while maintaining high standards of hygiene and patient comfort.

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and ready for use. Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients, answering their questions, and ensuring their comfort throughout procedures. Maintain accurate patient records, including treatment plans and medical histories, using IT systems effectively. Ensure the sterilisation of instruments and cleanliness of the treatment area in accordance with health and safety regulations. Communicate effectively with patients regarding post-treatment care instructions and appointments. Organise appointments and manage the dental practice's schedule to optimise efficiency. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless operation of the practice.

Experience

Previous experience as a Dental Nurse is preferred but not essential; newly qualified nurses are encouraged to apply. We may also accept non qualified applicants on to our dental nurse training scheme Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with patients and colleagues. A caring attitude towards patient care, demonstrating empathy and professionalism at all times. Proficiency in IT systems related to healthcare management is advantageous.
