We are looking for a kind, conscientious, and reliable qualified dental nurse who takes pride in their work and cares deeply about doing things well. If you value attention to detail, enjoy learning, and find satisfaction in supporting patients and colleagues alike, you may be just who we're looking for.
What we offer:
We believe in looking after our team as well as our patients. You'll enjoy:
A calm, supportive environment with no evenings or weekends
Friday afternoons off to start the weekend early
Extra time built into the day for set-up and close-down so you never feel rushed
Generous holiday allowance with additional leave after your first year
A Christmas shutdown period to enjoy with loved ones
Funded training opportunities (radiography, clinical photography, phlebotomy, impression taking, suture removal, and more)
Occasional paid trips to conferences and development events
Wellbeing initiatives, including a yearly 'Growth Day' focused on team health and mindset
Free parking, uniform provided, pension scheme, and access to health and life cover after probation
The kind of person who will thrive with us:
You're someone who is naturally kind, calm, and considerate. You take pride in doing things properly and notice the little details that make a big difference. You listen carefully, take feedback on board without fuss, and see it as a chance to keep improving.
You're mature, honest, and grounded - able to admit when something didn't go to plan, and confident enough to learn from it. You like to work steadily and efficiently, keeping yourself organised and supporting those around you so that everything runs smoothly.
Most of all, you care - about your patients, your colleagues, and the quality of your work. You're motivated to keep learning and growing, and you'll always give your best for the team.
In short, you are:
Kind, calm and considerate
Detail-oriented and proud of high standards
Open to feedback and keen to learn
Honest, mature and grounded
Organised, efficient and supportive of others
Caring towards patients and colleagues
Your role will include:
Supporting clinicians chairside across a variety of treatments, including implants, restorative, endodontics, periodontal care and oral surgery
Taking ownership of your own nurse column, where you'll gradually build new skills such as clinical photography, phlebotomy, digital scanning, impression taking and suture removal (full training provided)
Carrying out thorough decontamination of instruments and equipment, maintaining the highest standards of cross infection control
Helping to keep the practice welcoming, clean and well-presented for every patient
Working alongside colleagues to ensure the day runs smoothly and calmly, creating a seamless and reassuring journey for our patients
Being supported by our Lead Nurse, Tasha, who will encourage your growth and development while also ensuring our nursing team maintains the highest standards of care

DBS certificate within the last 3 years
