We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care, assisting the dental team, and ensuring a smooth workflow within the practice. This position requires strong communication and organisational skills, as well as a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and patient comfort.

Duties

Assist dentists during various dental procedures, ensuring that all necessary instruments are prepared and sterilised Provide excellent patient care by making patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their treatment Maintain accurate patient records and update information as required Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up calls to ensure optimal patient flow Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols Collaborate effectively with the dental team to enhance overall practice efficiency Utilise IT systems for record keeping, appointment management, and other administrative tasks

Experience

Previous experience as a Dental Nurse is preferred but not essential; newly qualified nurses are encouraged to apply Strong background in patient care with an emphasis on empathy and communication skills Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is essential for effective communication with patients and colleagues Familiarity with nursing practices within a dental setting is advantageous Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment IT skills are necessary for managing patient records and scheduling systems
