Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care, assisting the dental team, and ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic. As a Dental Nurse, you will be responsible for supporting dental procedures, maintaining a sterile environment, and fostering positive relationships with patients.

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with practice protocols. Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and provide reassurance, ensuring they feel comfortable throughout their visit. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations by maintaining a clean and organised work environment. Manage appointment schedules and assist with administrative tasks as required. Provide post-operative care instructions to patients and address any queries they may have. Collaborate with the dental team to improve patient care processes and overall clinic efficiency.

Experience

Previous experience as a Dental Nurse or in a similar healthcare role is preferred but not essential. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and colleagues. Proficiency in IT systems related to patient management and record keeping is advantageous. Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Pay: 12.00-16.00 per hour
