We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care, assisting the dental team, and ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic. Responsibilities

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Prepare and sterilise instruments and equipment in accordance with health and safety regulations. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using IT systems. Provide pre-operative and post-operative care instructions to patients. Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate patient flow within the practice. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Ensure the dental surgery is clean, organised, and well-stocked with necessary supplies. Collaborate effectively with the dental team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Requirements

Qualified Dental Nurse with relevant nursing qualifications. Strong patient care skills with a focus on empathy and understanding. Proficient in English, both written and spoken, to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues. Excellent IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling software. Strong communication skills to interact positively with patients, families, and team members. Exceptional organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a dental practice is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm for learning is highly valued.
