We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our team. Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available. Provide excellent patient care by reassuring and educating patients about dental procedures and oral hygiene practices. Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans, using IT systems effectively. Sterilise instruments and maintain cleanliness in the dental surgery to comply with health and safety regulations. Manage appointments, ensuring efficient scheduling and follow-up for patients. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless workflow and high standards of care.

Skills

Strong patient care skills with a focus on empathy and understanding. Proficient in English, both written and spoken, to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues. Relevant nursing qualifications or experience in a dental setting is advantageous. IT skills to manage patient records and utilise dental software efficiently, ideally Dentally. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with patients, families, and team members. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
