The Village Dental Surgery is a small business in Cumbernauld. We are professional.

Dental Nurse

Qualified Dental Nurse required for full-time position in busy NHS/mixed practice, to be part of a friendly, hard-working team. This post is for maternity cover, starting in November 2025 for 6 to 9 months, to work with our principal dentist.

Salary dependent on experience.

Responsibilities:
- Assisting the dentist during dental procedures
- Preparing and sterilizing dental instruments and equipment
- Providing oral hygiene instructions to patients
- Maintaining accurate patient records
- Scheduling and confirming dental appointments
- Ordering and managing dental supplies

Experience:
- Previous experience as a dental nurse is preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
- Familiarity with dental software and digital imaging systems preferred but not essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

We will provide an annual CPD day as well as access to online CPD.
