We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our small team at Borrowash Dental Care. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care, assisting dentists during procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental practice. This position requires strong communication and organisational skills, as well as a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and patient comfort.

Responsibilities

Assist dentists during examinations and treatments, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available. Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all documentation is completed in a timely manner. Adhere to strict infection control protocols to ensure the safety of patients and staff. Manage appointment schedules, including booking, confirming, and rescheduling appointments as needed. Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the dental surgery and equipment.

Requirements

A recognised qualification in dental nursing is preferred but not essential for candidates with relevant experience. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and colleagues. A genuine passion for patient care with the ability to work well under pressure. Previous experience in a dental setting is an advantage but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
