We are currently looking for part-time dental nurses to join our team at The Village Dental Practice, Crossgar. 4 days per week plus holiday cover when required.

Job Overview

We are seeking a Dental Nurse to join our dental practice in providing high-quality care to our patients. The ideal candidate will be a compassionate and organised individual with excellent patient care skills.

Experience preferred but not essential. Development opportunities available and you will be supported to become a qualified dental nurse.

Responsibilities

- Assisting the dentist during dental procedures
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the dental surgery
- Sterilising dental instruments
- Providing chairside support to the dentist
- Taking and processing X-rays
- Recording patient notes accurately
- Educating patients on oral healthcare

Qualifications

- Qualified Dental Nurse preferred but not essential. You will be supported in becoming qualified.
- IT skills for managing patient records
- Strong organisational abilities to assist in smooth clinic operations
- Exceptional patient care skills
- Proficient in English for effective communication with patients and colleagues

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week
