Exciting Head Nurse Opportunity - Gentle Dental Care Droitwich*Monday-Thursday, & ad-hoc Saturdays

We are seeking a

high-performing and experienced Head Nurse

to join our dedicated team and contribute to the continued success of our 2 surgery dental practice. Your role will include being Infection Control lead and you will be responsible for stock management and ordering

We are looking for a candidate with prior Head Nurse experience - or a highly experienced Qualified Nurse used to additional responsibilities within a practice looking for the next step

Someone who has the ability to guide and support a Nursing team to provide a fantastic patient journey Confident in presenting themselves when meeting with patients and be willing to go the extra mile to ensure all of our patients are given a 5 star service Lead and manage a team of dental nurses, ensuring excellent care and support for both patients and clinicians. Provide direct clinical support during dental procedures, ensuring a high standard of care. Collaborate with the management team to improve patient care, processes, and practice efficiency and smooth day to day running of the practice Ensure infection control protocols and health and safety standards are strictly followed Understand practice policies for CQC requirements Have proven experience in

stock management and ordering

to ensure consistent availability of essential supplies. Manage stock, order supplies, and oversee inventory to maintain a well-equipped practice. Be able to carry out surgery checks and ensure all nurses are performing surgery checks appropriately contribute in performing audits and compliance and making sure all checklists are up to date Have strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills and lead by example to other colleagues. Be able to handle multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment. be committed to high-quality patient care and have a passion for the dental profession. Provide mentorship and training for junior dental nurses and new team members.

REQUIREMENTS

GDC Registration & Nursing Qualification is essential for the position Have at least 2 years dental nursing experience Experience with EXACT software (not essential) Have up to date Hep B certificate, DBS check and CPD with right to work in UK

Competitive salary 14.00 per hour

GDC and Indemnity indemnity costs covered
