The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of patient care and comfort, while supporting clinicians in the delivery of a wide range of dental treatments. This position requires professionalism, excellent communication skills, strong organisational abilities, and a patient-centred approach.
Key Responsibilities
Assist dentists during examinations and treatments, ensuring all instruments and materials are prepared and readily available.
Deliver exceptional patient care by offering reassurance, answering queries, and addressing any concerns with empathy and professionalism.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and treatment plans.
Adhere to all health, safety, and infection control protocols in line with current regulations.
Efficiently manage appointment schedules to ensure smooth patient flow and minimise waiting times.
Carry out administrative duties including filing, managing correspondence, and handling patient inquiries.
Use dental software systems for clinical notes, appointment booking, and records management.
Requirements
Qualified Dental Nurse with current registration and relevant certification, or equivalent experience.
Proficiency in English and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong organisational and time-management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks effectively in a busy environment.
A caring and empathetic approach, with a commitment to delivering outstanding patient care.
Familiarity with dental software systems is advantageous, although training will be provided.
Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently when required.
