We are seeking a dedicated, confident, and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic 2-surgery dental practice in central Dundee. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified nurse to step into a lead role, supporting the smooth running of the clinical team and assisting in a wide range of general and specialist procedures.

As a Dental Nurse, you will be at the heart of the patient journey, helping people feel informed, cared for, and comfortable throughout their treatment. The right candidate will also bring strong leadership skills and a calm, resilient presence to support the wider team.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the dentist and specialists during examinations and treatments Provide reassuring, high-quality patient care and education Maintain cleanliness and infection control in treatment rooms Prepare, clean, and sterilise dental instruments Support junior/trainee nurses as needed Liaise with the practice manager to ensure smooth day to day operations Help manage appointment schedules and assist with administrative duties Contribute to a professional, welcoming, and respectful team environment
Experience & Attributes:

GDC registration is essential 1+ year post-qualification experience preferred Strong communication and teamworking skills Organised, reliable, and emotionally resilient Able to manage pressure and respond calmly to challenges Confident using dental IT systems and Microsoft Office Committed to ongoing learning and professional development

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 13.00-14.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week

Experience:

Dental Nursing: 1 year (preferred) Dental assisting or less: 1 year (preferred)
