Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to work on every other Saturday to start moving on to every Saturday in the future. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting dentists/hygienist during procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental practice. This position requires excellent communication skills, strong organisational abilities, and a commitment to maintaining a welcoming environment for patients.

Duties

Assist the Hygienist during examinations and treatments by preparing instruments and materials. Ensure that the treatment room is clean, organised, and equipped with necessary supplies. Manage the autoclaves and the decontamination room. Maintain accurate patient records and assist with administrative tasks as needed. Manage appointment schedules and follow up with patients regarding treatment plans. Adhere to infection control protocols and health and safety regulations.

Skills

Proficient IT skills for maintaining patient records and using dental software. Strong command of English for effective communication with patients and team members. Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience as a nurse required Ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with patients, ensuring their comfort and understanding. A commitment to providing exceptional patient care while working collaboratively within a team.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.50-14.25 per hour
