We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic team. As a Dental Nurse, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice, supporting both the dental team and our patients throughout their treatment journey.

Responsibilities

Assist dentists during various dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available. Maintain a clean and sterile environment, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times. Communicate effectively with patients, providing them with information about treatments and addressing any concerns they may have. Record patient information accurately in electronic health records, demonstrating proficiency in IT skills. Manage appointment schedules, ensuring efficient use of time for both patients and dental staff. Support the dental team in administrative tasks as required, contributing to the overall organisation of the practice. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to promote long-term dental health.

Qualifications

Qualified Dental Nurse with relevant certification or diploma. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and colleagues. Excellent organisational abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently within a busy environment. Previous experience in a dental practice is preferred but not essential; we welcome applications from newly qualified nurses. A genuine passion for patient care and the ability to work well under pressure as part of a team. Proficiency in IT systems related to dental practice management is an advantage.
