Due to expansion of our practice we currently have an exciting opportunity available.
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring that the dental practice runs smoothly. This position requires excellent organisational skills, a strong ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and safety.

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared in advance. Provide exceptional patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have. Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment scheduling using practice management software. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols. Sterilise instruments and maintain cleanliness in the treatment areas. Support administrative tasks as needed, including managing inventory of dental supplies. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure seamless workflow within the practice.

Skills

Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Proficient IT skills for managing patient records and using dental software applications. Previous experience as a nurse or in a healthcare setting is desirable. Excellent command of English for effective communication with patients and colleagues. A genuine passion for patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards patients' needs. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
