Dental Nurse (Experienced)

Experienced Dental Nurse (Radiography Qualified) - Full Time, Cosmetic Focus

About the Practice

Be part of a brand-new, modern 4-surgery practice very close to central Manchester. We are opening with two surgeries now, the other two will become active soon. State-of-the-art facilities, nurse support, on-site practice manager and free parking nearby. Our focus is on cosmetic treatments and high quality patient care. There's real opportunity to grow in your role (Head Nurse, Treatment Co-ordinator Over Time) as the practice expands.

Role & Working Hours

Full time,

40 hours per week

Flexible hours:

weekends may need covering, with compensating time off during weekdays

You'll be part of the core nursing team, working closely with dentists delivering cosmetic treatments

Key Responsibilities

Assist dentists chair-side during cosmetic procedures (veneers, crowns, smile makeovers, etc.)

Perform radiography duties

(you must hold a valid dental radiography qualification)

Maintain sterilisation, decontamination, instrument maintenance

Support patient care, preparation, aftercare; maintaining high standards of hygiene and cross-infection control

Keep accurate clinical records,using a practice management software (Dentally knowledge preferred)

Mentor junior/nurse support staff when needed; help shape clinical protocols

Requirements

Minimum 2 years' experience as a qualified dental nurse

Radiography qualification

compulsory

(OPG, CBCT)

Experience in cosmetic dentistry is a plus - but willingness to learn if less is okay if other skills strong

GDC registration

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Reliable, flexible, with a patient-focused attitude
