Duties

Assist dentists during various dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared in advance. Provide exceptional patient care by reassuring patients and addressing their concerns throughout their treatment. Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans, using IT systems efficiently. Ensure that all dental equipment is sterilised and maintained according to health and safety regulations. Organise appointments and manage the scheduling of patients to optimise workflow within the practice. Communicate effectively with both patients and team members to foster a positive environment. Participate in continuing professional development to stay updated on best practices in dental nursing.

Requirements

Qualified Dental Nurse with relevant certifications or equivalent experience. Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues. Strong IT skills for managing patient records and using practice management software. Excellent organisational abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently within a busy environment. A compassionate approach to patient care, demonstrating empathy and professionalism at all times. Ability to work well as part of a team while also being self-motivated when required.
