Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and assisting the dental team in delivering effective treatments. This position requires excellent communication skills, strong organisational abilities, and proficiency in IT to manage patient records and appointments efficiently.

Experience in orthodontics is desirable but not essential.

Duties

Assist orthodontists and therapists during various dental procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow. Provide exceptional patient care by preparing patients for treatment and addressing their concerns. Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment scheduling using dental software. Sterilise instruments and ensure that all equipment is ready for use before procedures. Communicate effectively with patients, explaining treatment plans and post-operative care instructions. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a safe and hygienic environment in compliance with health regulations. Participate in ongoing professional development to stay updated with the latest dental practices and technologies. Undertake

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Dental Nurse or in a similar role is preferred but not essential. Strong patient care skills with the ability to communicate clearly in English. Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Proficiency in IT, including experience with dental software for record management. A caring attitude towards patients, demonstrating empathy and professionalism at all times. Relevant qualifications or certifications in dental nursing are advantageous but not mandatory.
