Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing excellent patient care while assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality services. This position requires strong organisational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff alike.

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow. Prepare and maintain the treatment room, including sterilisation of instruments and equipment. Provide exceptional patient care by reassuring and educating patients about their treatments. Manage patient records and ensure accurate documentation of treatments performed. Schedule appointments and follow up with patients regarding their treatment plans. Maintain inventory of dental supplies and assist in ordering when necessary. Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring a clean and safe environment for both patients and staff.

Qualifications

Must be a qualified Dental Nurse and GDC registered Strong patient care skills with a focus on empathy and understanding. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Proficient IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling systems.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 12.50-13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 21 - 37 per week
