Job Summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate dental nurse to join our busy dental practice. Doctor Dhillon Dental is a Private Dental practice with a highly skilled team providing cosmetic procedures, smile makeovers, implants and much more.

We expect the successful candidate to be motivated with good communication skills. There will be opportunities to up-skill within our practice through working with the Invisalign workflow and Implant/Restorative dentistry.

Hours:

Tuesday 9AM-5PM

Wednesday 9AM-7PM

With optional extra hours if required.

Duties

Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow. Prepare and maintain the treatment room, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready for use. Provide chairside support to patients, ensuring their comfort and understanding of procedures. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with practice protocols. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate patient flow within the practice. Uphold strict infection control measures and adhere to health and safety regulations. Communicate effectively with patients, addressing any concerns or queries they may have.

Experience

Previous experience as a Dental Nurse is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate. Proficiency in English is required for effective communication with patients and team members. IT skills are advantageous for managing patient records and scheduling systems. A strong background in patient care is essential, demonstrating empathy and professionalism at all times. Excellent organisational skills are necessary to manage multiple tasks efficiently within a busy practice environment.
