We are a general and specialist dental referral practice seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dental team in delivering effective treatments. This position requires excellent communication and organisational skills, as well as a commitment to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for patients.

Duties

Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring that all instruments and materials are prepared and ready for use. Provide direct patient care, including taking medical histories, preparing patients for treatment, and ensuring their comfort throughout procedures. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards. Sterilise dental instruments and equipment, adhering to infection control protocols to ensure patient safety. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up communications with patients to ensure continuity of care. Collaborate with the dental team to improve patient experience and streamline office operations.

Skills

Strong patient care skills, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards patients' needs. Proficient in English, with excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Background in nursing or relevant healthcare experience is preferred. Basic IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling systems. Exceptional organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively within a fast-paced environment. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated when required. Pay: 12.49-15.01 per hour
