We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring that the dental practice runs smoothly. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment while maintaining high standards of hygiene and patient comfort. This role is due to start as soon as possible, start date is negotiable for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments are prepared and sterilised.
Provide direct patient care, including preparing patients for treatment and offering reassurance throughout procedures.
Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment schedules efficiently.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols.
Communicate effectively with patients regarding their treatment plans and oral health education.
Support administrative tasks as needed, including managing inventory of dental supplies.
Collaborate with other dental professionals to ensure a high standard of care is delivered.
Skills
Qualified as a Dental Nurse with relevant certifications.
Must have at least 2 years experience as a dental nurse
Strong IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling software.
Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and team members effectively.
Demonstrated ability in providing compassionate patient care.
Highly organised with strong attention to detail in all tasks.
Proficient in English, both written and spoken, to ensure clear communication.
