We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. Duties

Assist dentists during a variety of dental treatments and procedures, ensuring smooth workflow and patient safety Prepare treatment rooms by sterilising instruments and setting up necessary equipment Provide care and reassurance to patients before, during, and after treatments Take and develop dental radiographs as required, adhering to safety protocols Maintain accurate patient records using IT systems and ensure confidentiality at all times Manage appointment schedules efficiently, ensuring timely patient flow Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions Uphold strict infection control standards in line with health and safety regulations

Requirements

Proven experience in patient care within a healthcare or dental setting is desirable Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to reassure and inform patients effectively Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment Good IT literacy for maintaining accurate digital records and using practice management software Knowledge of nursing principles relevant to dental care is preferred but training can be provided for the right candidate Ability to work as part of a team with professional attitude and attention to detail A recognised qualification in dental nursing or equivalent is advantageous but not essential for internship positions
