Overview

We are seeking a hard working, compassionate & fun loving,Dental Nurse to join our forward thinking team.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care within our dental practice.

As a Dental Nurse, you will assist the dentist during procedures, ensure the smooth operation of the practice, and maintain a welcoming environment for patients. Strong communication skills and organisational abilities are essential for this role.

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available. Provide exceptional patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have. Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment scheduling efficiently. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols. Perform administrative tasks such as managing inventory of dental supplies and equipment. Communicate effectively with both patients and team members to foster a collaborative working environment. Participate in continuous professional development to stay updated with industry standards and practices.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Dental Nurse or in a similar healthcare role is preferred. Strong IT skills to manage patient records and scheduling systems effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact with patients and colleagues professionally. Demonstrated ability to provide high-quality patient care with empathy and understanding. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A recognised qualification in dental nursing or equivalent is desirable but not essential for the right candidate.

Pay: 15.70-16.12 per hour
