Dental Nurse
Job Description
The qualified and experienced dental nurse will have the ability to use both his/her knowledge and skills, as well as technology and teamwork to provide the highest standards of oral health care. The nurse's primary focus will be on providing a full range of dental treatments such as filling cavities, removing caries, cleaning teeth and administering local anesthesia.
Responsibilities:
Communicate with patients and dentists.
Scrub, polish and sterilize instruments and equipment.
Maintain cleanliness of treatment rooms and restrooms.
Perform oral examinations.
Accompany patients to different dental rooms.
Communicate with dentists and other staff members.
Wear appropriate safety equipment.
Answer phones and transfer calls appropriately.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 14.00-16.00 per hour
Schedule:
8 hour shift
Monday to Friday
Experience:
Dental assisting: 1 year (required)
Dental Nursing: 1 year (required)
Licence/Certification:
Valid GDC registration (preferred)
Work Location: In person
