We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. The successful candidate will support dentists during procedures, provide excellent patient care, and ensure the smooth operation of daily clinical activities. Duties
Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and sterilised.
Provide exceptional patient care by offering reassurance, explaining procedures, and ensuring patient comfort throughout their visit.
Maintain accurate patient records using IT systems, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.
Support infection control protocols by sterilising equipment and maintaining a clean clinical environment.
Manage appointment scheduling, follow-up communications, and administrative tasks to ensure efficient practice operations.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions.
Support the reception team with administrative duties as required, including handling patient enquiries in a professional manner.
Support practice with compliance and guidlines when required.

Experience
Previous experience in a dental or healthcare setting is desirable but not essential; relevant training will be provided for the right candidate.
Strong patient care skills with an empathetic approach to patients of all ages.
Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and team members.
Basic IT literacy for managing electronic health records and appointment systems.
Organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
Knowledge of nursing principles relevant to dental care is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be available for those new to the field.
