We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic. This position requires strong organisational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both patients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared in advance. Maintain a clean and sterile environment in compliance with health and safety regulations. Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have. Manage patient records accurately, ensuring all information is up-to-date and confidential. Schedule appointments and follow up with patients regarding their treatment plans. Handle administrative tasks such as managing inventory of dental supplies and equipment. Collaborate with the dental team to improve patient experiences and clinic efficiency.

Skills

Proficient in IT skills to manage patient records and scheduling systems effectively. Strong organisational abilities to maintain an efficient workflow within the practice. Excellent command of English for effective communication with patients and team members. A background in patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards patients' needs. Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
