We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care, assisting dentists during procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of the practice. This position requires strong communication skills, organisational abilities, and proficiency in IT systems relevant to dental care.

Duties



Assist dentists during examinations and treatments, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available. Provide high-quality patient care by welcoming patients, addressing their concerns, and ensuring their comfort throughout their visit. Maintain accurate patient records and update information as required using dental software systems. Sterilise instruments and maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with health regulations. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to promote overall dental health. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow within the practice.

Skills



Strong patient care skills with a focus on empathy and understanding. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and team members. Proficient IT skills for managing patient records and utilising dental software applications. Exceptional organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience as a nurse or in a healthcare setting is advantageous but not essential.
