Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dentist and hygienist during various procedures. Duties

Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available. Provide excellent patient care by ensuring patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their visit. Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans, using IT systems proficiently. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols. Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up care for patients, demonstrating strong organisational skills. Communicate effectively with patients regarding their treatment plans, oral hygiene instructions, and post-treatment care. Participate in continuous professional development to stay updated on dental practices and technologies.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Dental Nurse or in a similar healthcare role is preferred. A recognised nursing qualification is essential. Strong communication skills in English to interact effectively with patients and the dental team. Proficiency in IT systems related to patient management and record keeping. Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. A genuine passion for patient care and a commitment to providing high-quality dental services.
