We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality services. This position requires strong communication and organisational skills, as well as proficiency in IT to manage patient records effectively.
Responsibilities
Assist dentists during various dental procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Provide excellent patient care by preparing patients for treatment and addressing their concerns.
Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans, using dental software.
Ensure all dental instruments are sterilised and prepared for use, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up calls to enhance patient experience.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a high standard of service delivery.
Qualifications
Relevant nursing qualification or certification in dental nursing is essential.
Strong background in patient care with a focus on empathy and professionalism.
Proficient in English, both written and spoken, to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
Excellent communication skills to foster positive relationships with patients and the dental team.
Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
IT skills for managing electronic patient records and scheduling systems.
