We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality treatments. Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring that all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available. Provide excellent patient care by ensuring comfort and addressing any concerns during treatments. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including medical histories and treatment plans. Sterilise instruments and manage infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions. Collaborate effectively with the dental team, communicating clearly to ensure smooth operations within the practice. Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up communications to enhance patient engagement.

Qualifications

Relevant qualifications in dental nursing or equivalent experience in a healthcare setting. Strong patient care skills with a focus on empathy and understanding of patient needs. Proficient IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling systems. Excellent command of English, both written and verbal, to facilitate effective communication with patients and colleagues. Highly organised with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Registration with the General Dental Council essential.
