Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our private dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental clinic. As a Dental Nurse, you will assist the dental team in delivering exceptional service while maintaining a welcoming environment for our patients.

Duties

Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Prepare and sterilise instruments and equipment in accordance with health and safety regulations. Assist in the management of patient records, ensuring all information is accurate and up to date. Communicate effectively with patients, explaining treatment plans and answering any queries they may have. Maintain an organised and clean working environment, adhering to infection control protocols. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow and high standards of patient care. Stay informed about new technologies and procedures in dentistry to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications

Relevant qualification as a Dental Nurse or equivalent experience in a similar role. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and colleagues. A genuine passion for patient care and a commitment to providing high-quality service. Proficiency in IT systems related to dental practice management is advantageous but not essential. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: 13.00-17.00 per hour
