Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong organisational abilities, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and patient comfort.

Duties

Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available. Provide support to patients before, during, and after dental procedures, ensuring their comfort and addressing any concerns they may have. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with practice policies and regulations. Ensure that all dental equipment is properly sterilised and maintained in accordance with health and safety standards. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to promote overall dental health. Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up calls to ensure efficient patient flow within the practice. Collaborate with other team members to create a welcoming environment for patients.

Requirements

Qualified Dental Nurse with relevant certifications or qualifications. Proficient in English, both spoken and written, to effectively communicate with patients and team members. Strong IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling systems. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. A compassionate approach to patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards patients' needs. Previous experience in a dental practice is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
