We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dental team in delivering exceptional services. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures and a commitment to ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Duties
Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared.
Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have.
Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans.
Sterilise instruments and maintain cleanliness in the treatment area to adhere to health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with the dental team to improve practice efficiency and patient satisfaction.
Qualifications
A recognised qualification in dental nursing is essential.
Strong knowledge of anatomy is required to assist effectively during procedures.
Previous experience in a private dental dental practice is mandatory.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and empathy.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency in using dental software (SOE Exact) for record keeping is advantageous.
