Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring a sterile and organised environment
Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment for use
Provide excellent patient care, addressing any concerns or questions patients may have
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
Communicate effectively with patients, explaining treatment plans and post-operative care instructions
Uphold health and safety protocols within the practice, including infection control measures
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Dental Nurse is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
Strong patient care skills with a focus on empathy and understanding
Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, to facilitate clear communication with patients and team members
Excellent nursing skills, with a solid understanding of dental procedures and terminology
IT literacy to manage patient records and scheduling software effectively
Strong communication skills to interact positively with patients and colleagues alike
Exceptional organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently within a fast-paced environment
