Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting dentists during procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental practice. This position requires a strong commitment to patient welfare and an ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Assist dentists during examinations and treatments, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared in advance. Provide exceptional patient care by reassuring patients, answering their questions, and addressing any concerns. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards. Ensure that all dental equipment is sterilised and maintained according to health and safety guidelines. Manage appointment schedules and assist with administrative tasks as needed, including filing and inventory management. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a welcoming and efficient environment for patients.

Skills

Strong patient care skills with a focus on empathy and understanding. Proficient in English, both written and verbal, to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues. Background in nursing or relevant healthcare experience is advantageous. Basic IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling software. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with patients and team members. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
