Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality services. Responsibilities

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Prepare and sterilise instruments and equipment prior to dental procedures. Maintain accurate patient records and update treatment plans as necessary. Provide post-operative care instructions to patients and answer any questions they may have. Ensure the dental surgery is clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations. Manage appointment schedules and assist with patient flow in the practice. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventative care.

Requirements

Proven experience in patient care within a dental or healthcare setting is preferred. Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is essential for effective communication with patients and colleagues. A recognised nursing qualification is required; additional qualifications in dental nursing are advantageous. Strong IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling software. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with patients and team members. Exceptional organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Pay: 12.30-17.00 per hour
