We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse/Trainee Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of the practice. This position requires a strong commitment to patient welfare and an ability to communicate effectively with both patients and team members.

Duties

Assist the dentist during examinations and various dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments are prepared and sterilised. Provide high-quality patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have. Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointments efficiently using practice management software. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols. Organise and maintain the dental surgery, ensuring it is clean, tidy, and well-stocked with necessary supplies. Support patients in understanding their treatment plans and post-operative care instructions. Collaborate with other dental professionals to enhance the overall patient experience.

Skills

Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and colleagues. Strong organisational abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently within a busy environment. Previous experience as a nurse or in a healthcare setting is advantageous but not mandatory.
