Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available. Provide exceptional patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards. Ensure the cleanliness and sterilisation of dental instruments and equipment in accordance with health and safety regulations. Manage appointment scheduling and maintain an organised workflow within the practice. Collaborate with other dental professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to patient treatment. Stay updated on developments in dental practices and technologies through continuous professional development.

Skills

Strong patient care skills with a focus on empathy and understanding. Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, to effectively communicate with patients and colleagues. Relevant nursing qualifications or experience in a dental setting is advantageous. Basic IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling software. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with patients, families, and team members. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
