Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Dental Nurse to join our Outpatient team at Homerton. This role would suit a qualified dental nurse with previous experience in either theatres or a dental practice setting, who is passionate about delivering safe and high-quality patient care.

The post holder will be:

Managerially accountable to the Outpatient Charge Nurse and line-managed by the Team Leader.



Professionally linked to the Maxillofacial (Max Fax) team, including supporting the assessment and monitoring of clinical competencies.



In addition to supporting the Max Fax/dental clinics, the successful candidate will also be required to assist the wider Outpatient team during audit days, clinic cancellations, and other service needs .



This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive and dynamic team, develop specialist skills, and play an important role in improving patient experience within Outpatients.



> To provide chair/trolley side and first support assistance to the respective consultants in Maxillofacial/Oral/Theatres and their teams. > To assist and maintain high quality efficient and effective care of post operative patients. > Work as part of a team to maintain a clean and safe theatre environment for patients and staff. > Participate in the development of self and others.
