Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced qualified dental nurse, or someone looking to join an apprenticeship scheme to join our friendly practice in the heart of Bollington!

We are a small dental practice focused on providing excellent care for our patients, and are looking for someone to join our caring team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice.

Ideally we are looking for someone Monday - Thursday, with the potential to be full-time (2.15pm finish on a Friday) in the future.

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring all necessary instruments are prepared and available. Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients and addressing their concerns before, during, and after procedures. Maintain accurate patient records, including treatment plans and medical histories, using IT systems effectively. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols. Organise appointments and manage the dental practice's schedule efficiently. Communicate effectively with patients and team members to foster a positive environment. Participate in continuous professional development to stay updated with the latest dental practices.

Experience

Previous experience as a Dental Nurse is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact with patients and colleagues professionally. Proficiency in IT systems relevant to dental practice management is advantageous. A genuine passion for patient care and a commitment to providing high standards of service are essential attributes for success in this role.

Pay: 8.00-14.50 per hour
